Today is Korean Village's last day and I'm so sad. We've been going over the last 11 years and have so many memories there. We love the Lee family and glad that we got a chance to know them (even seeing their son growing up). Our favorites were: Kimchi Pork pancake, Bulgogi, Mushroom soup. Hoping for them to create another restaurant. If not, we wish them a happy retirement. Thank you!

Rally good. The seafood pancake had large pieces of octopus. The kimchi pork tofu soup, medium spice level, was hotter than expected. I'll be back.

My husband and I were craving Korean BBQ and found Korean village through Yelp. We came around 5:40p on a Sunday and they weren't too busy. The menu is only two pages so it makes deciding what to eat much easier. We ended up ordering the full order of the Kalbi and a seafood pancake. We really enjoyed both dishes! The seafood pancake was very crispy and had large chunks of squid. The side dishes served was also quite delicious and we were able to get seconds on some of them at the end of our meal. Service was really on point with the staff coming to check on us and being courteous. I am glad I discovered this place for next time I'm craving Korean food!

Located in the Valley Plaza next to the UPS store. This is a hole in the wall and it is a must try!!! Don't be fooled by the dark windows and outdated interior...the food is amazing and delicious!! Menu is very simple; don't expect a fancy menu with photos. Service was fantastic and the older lady (maybe the owner?) super was nice and attentive. We ordered the seafood pancake and the pancake is super crispy and there were chunks of shrimp and squid in there. This is an absolute must-try! I've tried other Korean places and usually the pancake is filled with onions. Best seafood pancake I've had! Assorted tofu soup (pork, beef and seafood) - it came to the table piping hot and the broth is delicious! Flavor is tasty and has deep umami flavor. Prices are very reasonable and you can order online for pickup.

Delicious. I would totally come here again. Very quick and friendly service. You can tell many regulars come here because the waitstaff are able to greet the customers' kids. The ambiance is like a friendly mom and pop shop, very casual setting that feels like you're dining at home. Waitstaff were very conscious of the sesame allergy of a member of our party. Very professional and polite, and took this seriously. We had 1. Seafood pancake - this was amazing, highly recommend! It was not greasy and all the seafood was very fresh. This was arguably several standards higher than what I am typically used to getting with overly oily seafood pancakes 2. Kalbi soup - never had this dish before, and it's going on my list of favorites. Very light and flavorful. 3. Spicy tofu jiggae, assorted - delicious, again with wonderful flavor. Would totally order this again 4. BBQ galbi (beef short rib) - also delicious. This tends to be pretty good at most Korean restaurants I have been to and this one also hits the spot 5. Pan fried fish - I forget which one we got (flounder or mackerel). Not my favorite and would pass on this next time. Totally coming back again!

Decent Korean food. The front windows of the restaurant are tinted very dark. Don't let this fool you into thinking that they are closed. Service was good. We got the Kalbi and a Hot Stone Seafood Bibimbap. The kalbi was well seasoned and cooked. For the bibimbap, they ask you to choose the heat level you like. I picked medium. The heat level was a little hotter than I'm used to, but it was still quite good. The hot stone is like a flat platter rather than a bowl. It still stayed hot until the end of the meal. My only complaint about the food is that the seafood mix was all chopped tentacles and one shrimp. Prices are going up, but that's happening everywhere. Can't blame them for that.

I love soon tofu soup and I was really craving it the other day. Luckily, this was available for me on DoorDash and I placed an order for a Fried Dumpling and Tofu Soup combo. The Tofu Soup: It was really good and delicious. It may look spicy but it was pretty tame in that regards . It had everything I expected in soondobu. The Korean side dishes (which I forget the actual name they are called) was nice to have with. There was a lot of food so I managed to get two servings out of this. The Fried Dumplings: This was a nice appetizer to the meal. Wasn't overdone now under. Got nothing else more to say then how delicious it was for me. Overall, I would get this again, though I prefer in person. Was a bit pricey for a DoorDash experience though.

For really good Korean food and superb service, you gotta come here and try it out. Super friendly, almost like a mama welcoming you in their home (more on this later). Limited menu from what I remember last time, but it hits all the basics. We went bbq chicken, kim chee rice, soondubu, and a hot plate bi bimp bap. The chicken was so plentiful - and way more than what GoGoong offers. Tasty and sizzling when it came, the little ones loved this dish. I tasted it and while it was not as flavorful as some other places, it was still delicious. The kim chee fried rice was also great. Flavorful and good amount of ingredients without being so powerful like some other places. Small egg on top. I'd recommend. Soondubu I didn't get to taste, but the wife enjoyed it and mentioned the broth was nice and not overly salty. She wishes the egg came separate cause she enjoys cracking it and mixing it and watching it cook. I really enjoyed the bi bim bap. Came out piping hot on the hot plate, the rice underneath was crispy. Great amount of ingredients and surprised by the amount of bulgogi they included on top. Mix in the hot sauce and this was a top notch dish for sure! Back to the home part. I knocked off a star cause the inside is just so uninviting. I know it's hard nowadays but wish they could demo the inside to studs and redo it real nice. Although it might be better to find a different spot since the strip mall they're in is so sleepy. One of the things I enjoy in general is the inside ambiance. And this place was lacking. But the food. Oh boy. Come check it out.
